This policy explains how IntlMail.com uses cookies and similar technologies. It is part of our broader Privacy Policy. The short version: we use a small set of essential cookies, an analytics cookie set, and the cookies that Google AdSense and its partners place to deliver and measure ads.
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your browser. Cookies let a site remember things between visits — for example, that a banner has been dismissed, or that a particular ad was already shown to you. Some are set by us (first-party); others are set by third parties whose code runs on the page (third-party).
This policy also covers similar technologies, such as local storage, session storage, and tracking pixels. The mechanism differs, but the privacy considerations are the same.
These are required for the site to function — for example, to remember whether your browser supports a particular feature, or to maintain a session if you've dismissed a notice. They do not track you across sites and cannot be disabled through the site itself, though your browser can block them.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage: which guides are read most, where readers come from, and where pages perform poorly. Google sets cookies including _ga and _ga_<property-id>. Analytics data is processed by Google as our processor; see Google's Privacy Policy and the how Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services notice.
You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, by declining analytics cookies if a consent banner is shown in your jurisdiction, or by blocking cookies in your browser.
The site is supported by display advertising. Google AdSense serves the ad slots and may set or read cookies — for example, __gads and __gpi — to deliver ads, control ad frequency, and measure performance. Where allowed, ads may be personalized based on your prior visits to this and other sites; otherwise non-personalized ads are served.
Google's ad network includes third-party vendors whose cookies may be set when an ad they serve is loaded. Each operates under its own privacy policy. The list of vendors and what they do is described in:
You can block or delete cookies directly in your browser settings. Most browsers also offer a "private" or "incognito" mode that does not retain cookies after the window closes. Note that blocking all cookies will break some features on most websites, including this one.
Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential cookies (notably the EU/EEA, UK, and similar regimes), the site requests consent before setting analytics or advertising cookies. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clearing site data in your browser, which forces a fresh prompt on your next visit.
Browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal that does not have a single agreed meaning. We follow applicable consent rules rather than DNT specifically, but you can still control non-essential cookies using the methods above.
This policy will change as the cookies we and our partners use change. The "Last reviewed" date at the top of the page indicates the most recent revision.
