This policy explains what information IntlMail.com ("we," "our," or "us") collects when you visit intlmail.com, why we collect it, and what choices you have. We try to keep it concrete rather than legalistic. If anything is unclear, write to privacy@intlmail.com.

1. What we collect

Information you give us

• Email correspondence. When you email us at any of our published addresses, we receive your email address and message. We use it only to reply.
• Calculator and tool inputs. Inputs you type into the rate calculator, delivery estimator, or weight converter run inside your browser. They are not sent to or stored on our servers.

Information collected automatically

• Your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, and referring URL.
• Pages viewed, time spent on pages, scroll depth, and links clicked.
• Approximate location (country and region) inferred from your IP, used by analytics.
• Cookies and similar storage as described in the Cookie Policy.

2. Why we collect it

• To operate, secure, and improve the site (e.g., spotting which country pages are slow or broken).
• To understand how readers use the guides and where they get stuck.
• To respond to your inquiries when you contact us.
• To comply with legal obligations and protect against abuse.

The legal bases under GDPR are: legitimate interest (running and securing the site, understanding aggregate usage), consent (for non-essential cookies and personalized advertising where required), and legal obligation (where applicable).

3. Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand site usage in aggregate. Analytics data is processed by Google as our processor and may be transferred to and stored on Google's servers, including in the United States. We use IP-anonymization where supported. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by declining analytics cookies if a consent banner is shown in your jurisdiction.

4. Advertising

The site does not currently show advertising and no advertising cookies are set. If advertising is added, this policy and the Cookie Policy will be updated first to name the partners involved and how to opt out.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

6. Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share limited information with the service providers that make the site work:

• Google LLC — analytics (Google Analytics).
• Hosting and content delivery providers — to serve the pages and protect against abuse.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of users or the public.

7. International transfers

Some of our service providers process data in the United States and other countries outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. Where required, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

8. Retention

Server access logs are retained for a limited operational window and then aggregated or deleted. Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the inquiry and any reasonable follow-up. Analytics data retention follows Google Analytics' configured retention period.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@intlmail.com with enough information for us to identify the relevant data. We may need to verify your identity before acting.

10. Children

The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact privacy@intlmail.com and we will delete it.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No system is perfectly secure; if you believe you have found a vulnerability, please tell us so we can address it.

12. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change. The "Last reviewed" date at the top of the page indicates the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged on the page itself.
